A Night of Original Music

November 16, 2017

The album The Rabbit and the Tiger has been the culmination of many months of hard work. Not only has Lindsey Nolan written and recorded this body of work, there has also been a huge team of student engineers, associate engineers and musicians working together to produce this album. Students from Years 5 to 12 have had the opportunity to learn skills such as setting microphones, learning how to use the outboard hardware, operating pro-tools as well as many other activities.

An integral component of the Lindisfarne Recording Studio is the focus on giving back to the community. So, to cap this year off in the right way, we have decided to relocate the preview of showcase from Twin Towns to our Chapel at Mahers Lane. Without the conformities of an outside venue, we’re able to make this a FREE event for our community and expand the performances to include more musical marvels eager to showcase their original pieces.

Featuring Lindsey Nolan’s exclusive album preview, plus performances from the Lindisfarne ensembles, A Night of Original Music is set to be the best musical night of 2017 and we look forward to celebrating with one last hoorah.
